Copyright & Trademark Policy

TritonPlan respects intellectual property rights. TritonPlan is an independent, unofficial tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by UC San Diego. If you believe content on TritonPlan infringes your copyright or trademark, tell us using the process below and we will respond promptly.

1. Trademarks

"UC San Diego," "UCSD," "Triton," "TritonLink," "WebReg," the UC San Diego wordmark, and related names and logos are trademarks of The Regents of the University of California. TritonPlan is independent and unofficial and claims no ownership of those marks. Any reference to them is nominative — used only to describe that this tool helps UC San Diego students plan their studies. If you are a rights holder and believe our use is improper, contact us at sas063@ucsd.edu and we will work with you in good faith, including removing or changing material.

2. Copyright — DMCA notice & takedown

We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). If you believe material on TritonPlan infringes a copyright you own or control, send a written notice to the copyright contact below that includes all of the following:

Your physical or electronic signature;
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and its location (URL) on TritonPlan, sufficient for us to find it;
Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, anyone authorized to act for the owner, or the law;
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

4. Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same address containing: your signature; identification of the removed material and where it appeared; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification; and your name, address, phone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your district.

5. Repeat infringers

We may terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Except for third-party marks and materials noted above, the TritonPlan name, source code, and original content are © 2026 Sahir Sharma, the site's sole author, and may not be copied or reused without permission.
